Metastorm interview questions

I was interviewed by couple of directors. After the 2nd round, I was told that they will call me for the personal interview. I waited for more than a week and after the following up, I came to know that they found a person whose skill set are a better match. I would have appreciated if they told me as soon as they knew it or the director in the 2nd round of the interview hasnt told me about being called for the 3rd round.
