Do Not Trust This Company – Left Unemployed After Accepting Offer
I went through multiple rounds of interviews for a Developer role and was successfully shortlisted after clearing three rounds. After negotiating and accepting their salary offer, I received a formal offer letter with a joining date two months later due to my notice period at my current job. Trusting their commitment, I resigned from my stable job, fully expecting to start with them.
Then, one month before my joining date, I received an informal call from the HR manager, informing me that the position was "on hold" due to internal management issues. They stated that they could no longer hire me, offering no valid reason, just an apology and casual advice to "look for another job," as if the situation was no big deal.
This company proved to be highly unreliable and unprofessional. I resigned from a stable job based on their offer, and now I’m left unemployed because of their lack of responsibility and foresight.
If you value your career, I highly recommend avoiding this company. They don’t care about the consequences of their actions and will retract their offer without considering the impact on your livelihood.
**Advice to Management:**
Ensure that your hiring process is solid and that you can actually follow through on your offers. Such unprofessionalism not only tarnishes your reputation but also leaves candidates in difficult and unfair situations. Your management team needs to be held accountable for the harm caused by these careless decisions. Think before you make an offer and jeopardize someone else’s career.
