Interview
A handful of my friends have been contacted by the recruiter at MetaLab, me included. I spoke with the recruiter regarding freelance and then the head of production shortly thereafter. Then I received an email saying they weren’t interesting in pursuing things. My friend had the same. For a company that is clearly looking for people they seem unclear in what they want, and they also aren’t overt about why you weren’t chosen. A mediocre experience for sure.

All the standard interview questions that agencies ask which I wish would be more interesting or work to uncover more interesting things in a potential candidate. Eg - how do you deal with issues on a project, how do you PM, what’s your process, etc etc.

Interview
Everyone involved in the interview process was organized, friendly and accommodating! There was 3 phases: screening, interview and assignment. Easily the best interview experience I’ve been through in the tech industry.
