Merlin Edge interview questions

It was a cold call telephone interview. They called me and made their corporate pitch to me and asked me a few questions about my experience and general approach to creative and strategic design. The interviewer sounded very keen to get me in to meet his partner. Then, following the phonecall, I received an email asking me if I would be willing to come in and perform a "Design creativity test". I replied that I do not design for spec and for subjective judgement. I design to solve marketing problems and my portfolio (which they already had seen online) was evidence of my creativity and success. I never heard back from them. I think they are trolling for hungry creatives to use and abuse.
