I applied online. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at Mercer (Glasgow, Scotland) in Jul 2017
Interview
I applied for the job via a recruitment consultant who took me through the role and took down details of what I currently did and how I would be able to do the job offered. She then went back to Mercer and they organised a telephone interview for me in the first instance. Five people had telephone interviews, I heard 3 working days later I was one of three to have got through this to the face to face interview stage. My first interview was 3 days later, with the manager from the telephone interview and her manager as well. It was supposed to last 30mins but went on for 50 which I took as a good sign. It was mostly a general chat about my current experience and what I could bring. After being told I had got through this to the final stage, which was me and one other candidate, I had a three week wait until this final interview. This was again with the same manager I had been in touch with the whole way through, and another manager who had come up from Birmingham to meet me. This was again a general chat through my cv, which 3 or 4 basic competency based questions. It was slightly shorter, maybe only 40minutes. I found out 2 days later that I had been successful.

Question 1
A time when you have had difficulty hitting a deadline - what steps did you take to overcome this?
I have had four Interviews in total for the position. Very professional and direct. No grilling but testing knowledge in a professional and modern way. Very knowledgeable and educated employees. After speaking to multiple market leaders, a wider call has been set up to see if there is also a cultural fit.
I applied in-person. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Mercer in May 2021
Interview
Interview involved one very brief phone interview and one video interview. The interview was more to test my communication skills rather than technical skills for the job. The person who was hiring was good to speak with but it only lasted 15 minutes.
