The first round interview consisted of a panel on Zoom. They followed the standard California protocalls of reading the DEI statement and explaining the rigid hiring interview process. Also, there was a brief writing assignment that I needed to complete. The major issue with the position was that the first interview was in mid-November for a position that began in January. Also, the job ad stated that travel expenses for the second round interview would not be remimbursed. When they called about the second interview it was already December and there is no reasonable way I could have moved to Ukiah in less than a month. I come to find out that they hired an under-qualifed local for the position who had worked for them as an adjunct. . . . Given the other reviews here it is pretty obvious there is something rather crooked going on.
I applied through university. I interviewed at Mendocino College (Ukiah, CA) in May 2014
Interview
Panel interview including other instructors, secretaries, student, one dean. I had a essay test question (surprise topic) and I had to teach the panel a 15 minute teach on a prearranged topic.

Question 1
How do I handle conflict amongst coworkers (little did I know this was the biggest problem with this job).
