I applied online. In initial stage I had to go through two 30-45 min long calls (one would have been more than enough) with recruiter where he asked mainly grants compliance related questions. After that i had to compile a list of answers to questions which i believe he was supposed to prepare but as he was unable to take notes, he asked applicants to compile responses instead. Subsequently i went through two rounds of interviews( online and in person). Team was extremely nice and knowledgeable but unfortunately i believe they did not communicate effectively and did not agree together on duties for this role which also explains why this role was initially posted as grant writer and later revised to senior grants manager. Each of interviewers has different opinion regarding required tasks for this role. Therefore, it is more than likely this person would be actually working as accountant, contracts manager, grants manager, finance manager and compliance officer at the same time. In last round i even learned this person would be involved in preparation of proposals and drafting quarterly program repots for client in additional to accounting, compliance training, SOPs preparation, trackers design and invoice booking. In short, the person chosen will be overworked and for duties required highly underpaid.
