I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Melio (Tel Aviv)
Interview
The interview process was swift, and the responses were delivered promptly. The interviewer was pleasant and provided comprehensive information about the company and the role. In my opinion, during the design interview, it’s crucial to ask numerous questions to gain a clear understanding of the available options.

I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Melio (Tel Aviv-Yafo) in Apr 2026
Interview
The process was super organized and went through a few main steps:
- Recruiter Chat: A quick 15-30 minutes phone call just to sync up on my background and see if we were a good match.
- Technical Design (2 interviews): The first was a remote round with two managers where we deep-dived into projects I’ve built before and talked about why I made certain design choices. The second was a system design round where I had to design a architecture based on specific requirements, focused on payments.
- Hiring manager interview: A chill conversation with the hiring manager to talk about team culture, soft skills, and how I like to work.
- HR & VP engineering: First an HR interview about company values, followed by a chat with the VP of Engineering about the bigger technical vision.
References and offer.
Overall, it was a really great and smooth process from start to finish.
