      Program Manager Interview

      19 Mar 2009
      Anonymous employee
      Dallas, TX
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Meeting Protocol (Dallas, TX) in Oct 2007

      Interview

Initial communication was with Senior Program Manager via email. Initial response time was delayed but once I came into the office, the process sped up. Senior PM met with me 1:1 to interview for the position of Travel Staff. She then recommended me for a Program Manager position. I returned for a second interview with the Vice President of Programs. After interviewing with VP, I was led around the office to meet the family (family owned business). I first met the COO, the daughter. Then I met the President, the mom. Both sons also work for the company. When I met with the daughter and VP, there was a second round of questions. The main point that the company wanted to relay was that it is a strictly managed workplace. This was apparent down to the aesthetics of the work areas, everything was meticulously placed, including the smiles on people's faces.

      Question 1

Questions were very rote. The most interesting exchange was when they asked me what I found most difficult in my last position.
