I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Medtronic (Minneapolis, MN) in Oct 2023
Interview
Extremely unprofessional interview process. The recruiter called me out of blue and asked me to show up next day for panel interview. I took time off for an interview, recruiter stopped responding, and eventually told me they have a hiring freeze and they can’t interview me. Why call if you have hiring freeze?
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Medtronic
Interview
Chat with recruiter and then hour long call with hiring manager. No technical questions, just chatted about recent projects and a few behavioral style questions. I only chatted with one person for the hiring manager interview

Question 1
Tell me about a medical device project you worked on.
It was a pretty standard screening call with talent acquisition first. Then I had a video call with the hiring manager. I never heard back after that, but a couple months later got notified that the job was closed.
