The first interview was a casual phone call (lasting nearly an hour) with the acting captain, which involved very little discussion about EMS experience or operations, and was more like chit-chat between friends. Very unprofessional and unusually casual/informal. The second interview was face-to-face, and again revolved more around casual chit-chat than it did my previous experience, goals, education, credentials. The acting captain at the time briefly discussed rapid company expansion and their dire need for staffing. The drug screen came after the job offer, after returning for a very inadequate ONE DAY "orientation".
