I applied online. I interviewed at McDonald's (Pitsea, England) in Aug 2017
Interview
Applied online, answered a few questions, got an email to book an interview time for the next week.
Has to be the worst interview I've had, it was a group interview about 10 people on tables of 5, had to answer a few questions on a sheet of paper and read out the answers, then answer a question in a group. Have no idea how they assessed it as the whole thing was less than half an hour and hardly anyone had any time to speak.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Asked about first store that opened in uk, when and where
Group question was why do you think customer experience is important
I applied online. I interviewed at McDonald's (Crosshands, Wales) in Sept 2025
Interview
Really straightforward. I applied online and the within a couple hours I was told that I have met their minimum requirements and for me to choose an interview slot for the next week. Once i did I attended the interview and then within 3 days I got an offer which I accepted.
Lots of personality based questions. Tell me about yourself, time youve been under pressure and how you handled it, why do you want to work here, what do you do in your spare time, etc.
Easy to apply online and to get an interview. Interview in restaurant with simple questions such as role models, how i would get to work and how I would handle situations.
Very nice experience with nice people.
