There was a two-step process: first, I was interviewed by the principal and two other employees from the firm. It was a typical architecture interview, I brought my portfolio and resume. They also asked me in for a second interview, but this time they wanted to see a full construction set that I had worked on, and I also spoke with someone on the design team they were looking to hire for. They also showed me some of their work. I would say the interview was average in terms of difficulty, but it was a hassle to bring a whole set of drawings with me from my current office. Would have been better if they had reviewed those via email.
