I applied online. I interviewed at Mayr-Melnhof (Vienna) in Jun 2022
Interview
General feeling of mistrust towards my CV, with specific demand and request for demonstration. Special focus on reasons for career changes and blanks in the CV. This was questioned in great detail for almost 15 minutes (in a 1-hour interview). At one point I felt very patronicing, even said that my decision for leaving my previous job with no other job opportunity was terrible ("furchtbar" literally). I would like the attitude to be less judgmental towards skills that should be obvious to a candidate and more focused on other relevant skills not listed in the application (e.g. soft skills and behaviour). At the end, I got a response two months later saying that the position was set back.
