I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Mayo Clinic (Jacksonville, FL) in Feb 2011
Interview
Four years ago was my last interview process as a Clinical Assistant for Mayo Clinic at the department of Hematology/ Oncology. Previous to that I had been a Clinical Assistant in a diffrent department of Mayo Pain Medicine to which I had worked there for a long period of about 7 1/2 years. Prior to that I had been in another Department of Family and Internal Medicine for some years as well.
Because of the number amount of years working in the company the interview process was a very comfortable setting for me. I had been trained and well aware of the company's mission statement and very familiar with the system. It was a one on one interview with the Supervisor of Hematology Oncology dept at that time by the name of Laureen Miller. Ms. Miller told me all about the departments expectations of a Clinical Assistant for that particular department was , which was a little different to the Clinical Assistant position I had been working for previous to that. Once she explained the expectations, the interview process began she had already set the tone as a confortable one.
