Due to Covid-19 pandemic the interview was on zoom. Despite being virtual was a great experience and very well organized. The structure was: 45 minutes presentation, Q&A on the presentation, and multiple one-to-one meetings.

Interview
Initially sent a letter of inquiry directly to the principle investigator I wished to work with. That followed by a response from them, a phone interview that was very informal. I was flown out for presentations and that day offered a position.

Mostly scientifically oriented questions from the crowd during the interview day at Mayo Clinic. Everything else was very cordial.
Two day process. Met the each member of the research team one on one. We then had dinner together and had a good time. Next day I met with each faculty member.

I first gave a presentation about my research background. next was a tour about the research buildings. and had lunch together. In the afternoon, a postdoc talked to me about the research projects and the life there. Everything is good and everyone is nice!
