I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Mayo Clinic (Rochester, MN)
Interview
The interview was very long but everyone was so kind and welcoming! The placement coordinator gave amazing feedback that helped prepare me for the interview on the unit. I highly recommend preparing for the interview. I looked up behavioral questions a head of time so that I could really think about all my experiences and prepare which ones I could use which really helped make things flow so much better. You also get asked prioritization questions where you have to provide rationale and steps you would take with each patient. Overall a very positive experience!
Got interviewed by the nurse manager. It took her 30 mins to do her presentation about Mayo clinic and department, and the next 30 mins was for the interview part. There was also a quiz during that half hour. It was done via zoom. I found
Interview is via online, good pace, average questions not too difficult. You must log in online, you get 1 minute to think about your question And answer them as you see fit
Three interviews with the last one in person. Behavior based questions. The examples listed on here of the questions I found very accurate. I would definitely be prepared ahead of time.
