I applied and was contacted by a third party for a phone interview and asked for my references. A week later I was asked to come in for a face to face interview and met with the CEO. He explained that the company was growing rapidly and that they wanted to move quickly on filling positions. Three weeks later I received an email from the third party vendor explaining that the CEO had interviewed several candidates with experience similar to mine and had decided to find someone with more experience. Six months later the CEO contacted me and asked if I was still interested in the position. I responded to his email, but never heard back from him.
