The interview process I went through consisted of an over the phone interview with one of the temp agencies Maximus uses, followed by an in person interview iwth MAximus itself. The interviews at the time were done in groups of 2-4 people with each person taking a turn to answer the questions they asked. All the questions they asked were fairly standard. ie:strengths/weaknesses, etc etc. After 3 months of employment the company decides whether to onboard you fully or end the contract. All external applicants have to go through a temp agency for the first 3 months. After you are onboarded you are able to move around within the company after ~6 months, sometimes less. It appears that the turn over rate is extremely high. While it is a very very mundane and boring job, it provides a lot of opportunity for upward mobility. In NY the contract with NYSOH was just renewed until 2020 so there is a ton of job stability. It's your typical huge corporation as far as benefits and work environment. Think Office Space. I listen to audiobooks all day to pass the time and keep to myself and I've had no issues. Maximus is also all over the world and handles over 50% of the US's medicaid enrollment.
