I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Matrix Metals (Houston, TX) in Oct 2017
Interview
Applied through LinkedIn (Oct 3). Got a phone call with Tamela (Oct 4). We talked about my background and resume. Got an email invite later that day for an in-person interview. The interview was simple and straight forward (Oct 11). Talked about my background again and was asked why I would be a good fit for this position. The in person interview was with 2 managers for 30 minutes each.
I missed their call on Friday (Oct 13), so I called back on Monday (Oct 16) and was informed that I was offered the position and that they wanted an answer asap. I got the offer email that day and thought it was strange how the offer date was last Friday's date instead of Monday's date but didn't really think much of it. I live about an hour away without traffic from Richmond, so I was in the process of contacting apartments closer to the area and sorting out my commute. Then I got an email on Wednesday (Oct 18) saying that if I didn't accept or decline the offer, they were going to retract the offer. I responded back asking if I could wait until Friday so I could make sure I had a place to live before I accepted. They responded back saying they needed an answer by 5 PM, so I declined the offer.
If they're already being unreasonable before I'm an employee, I could only imagine how badly I'd be treated once I'm an employee. 2/3 of the employees I met have been with the company for <2 months, so I'm guessing that their turnover rate is high and that's why they wanted to pressure the offer.

Pretty easy, had 3 interviews and was hired in a week. Phone interview, and two face to face interviews. The 3rd interview was easy just learning about the company. Didnt ask me any questions
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
A lot of questions about my background. Most of the questions were asked during the phone interview. On the 2nd interview I was asked specific questions about examples of situations I was in at work and how I handled them.
I applied in-person. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Matrix Metals (Keokuk, IA) in May 2012
Interview
I was interview by 5 different people, from different departments, taken to lunch and given a tour. Some of the people I interviewed with were to keep me busy until the Vice President had time to see me. I was asked general questions by the HR manager. I was taken to lunch by the lead sales manager, who told me about the office politics, what to do and not to do to get the job, how much to ask for, whom to trust. I was taken on tour of the facility by the HR manager who did not have very many answers to my questions. I met with a few other department heads, specifically the person to whom I would answer to, who did not seem to be very prepared to meet with me. I was then shown in to the VP's office where I was finally asked pertinent questions related to my history with a competitor, what my knowledge level was for what the Company did differently, what areas they would like to put me in for best functionality, how far I'd like to go within the company, asked about my family, asked if I could do some traveling. The VP outlined what role they would like me to play in the company to fill a hole that was causing issues in Quality and Performance.
