I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at MathWorks (Cambridge, England)
Interview
First short interview with a manager. This was to get a better understanding of the job and to tell a bit about myself.
Then a technical phone interview.
Questions were about Control Theory, Mathematics, C++, Java and general OOP and MATLAB. They are mostly here on Glassdoor.
Then Interview with HR. The usual questions were asked here.
The last step was an on-site interview. This interview contained three parts. One was a technical part, the second one was with a manager and the third part with HR.
The questions from HR were standard.
The technical questions similar to the phone interview, the difference was that it was less about the general concepts, but rather about implementation and application to concrete problems.
The manager asked mostly HR questions like how to handle multiple responsibilities, etc.
The last step was a reference check.
