1. I saw a MathWorks Booth at a Career Fair, and the recruiter suggested that I apply online.
2. About a week after I applied online I received an email asking if I would be interested in a phone interview, and what time would be good for me.
3. The phone interview was mostly gauging my interest in the position and consisted of some basic behavioural type questions. I was told that the next step would be a technical phone interview, and that I would receive an email with details about the topics that would be covered, if they decided to moved forward with me.
4. I received the email fairly quickly, and it stated what topics I would be asked questions about.
5. The technical phone interview came and went, and I was told again that I would be contacted if they decided to move forward with me.
6. I received an email asking if I would be available to fly out to Massachusetts for an on-site interview, and we coordinated to make that happen.
7. I arrived in Massachusetts on a Friday evening, and had three interviews on Saturday.
a. Behavioural
b. Technical
c. HR
On that Saturday, I was one of eight students who had come for an onsite interview. We were all given a series of presentations and information about The MathWorks. Overall, it was a fairly pleasant day.
8. Nearly a week later, I received an email stating that they wanted to extend an offer to me, and asked if I would accept.
9. After I accepted, I received the official offer letter in the mail, and began working shortly thereafter.
