I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Mastercard (Pune) in Nov 2020
Interview
I got referred by mastercard employee and then same day i received call from master card HR who explained me the role and understood about what experience i had.So i was working on same technology and i had huge financial domain knowledge too so she shared an online test which included MCQ related to java python maven git selenium etc. I got through with the online test and my meet interview was scheduled. So this guy asked me if i worked on the exact framework, tool, testing approach he was working on. Then the asked me to explain entire framework which i did i believe and then he ask a little in java and little from testng. Overall he was very rude and reat impatient and i could understand that he was looking for someone who was working on exactly the framework he was using and he kept saying that you have a build in framework and u guys just call the methods which i kept repeating was not the case in my project as it was at very initial stage.
I just felt really bad as i dint get any feedback from HR too. Mastercard was dream company for me and i really feel bad because of such negative interview experience .
Just an advice for Recurring team -: If the interview panel is so rigid about framework and tools then please specify the same in JD and in online test too this saves alot of time.
