I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Mastercard (Singapore) in Jun 2021
Interview
Hiring manager interview was a pleasant conversation where the interviewer not only shared alot about the role, expectations, team, but also about his background, work ethic, views. He also took the time to share career advice and asked questions geared at finding out more about the interviewee.
However the recruiter process and interview was a mess. Recruiter called me after 2 months of my application with no prior heads up. Without giving me time to recollect or reminding me of the role scope she launched into the usual interview about why I applied, etc. She then proceeded to ask me for salary information and expected salary and pressed me to confirm whether I would be ok if they matched my salary but did not give any ESOP/RSU. When I said that didn't make sense, she pressed me to provide a % salary increment that I would expect, even though I said I hadn't had the chance to calculate the right number and it would really depend on the role and entire package.
Multiple 30 minute interview. All one on one. No practical assessment. The process has been quite slow. It’s not really clear to me why it’s been so slow, but they have acknowledged it.
Horrible. I went through four rounds of interviews and then never heard back from them. Not even a rejection. When I followed up, the recruiter pointed blame and said they’d follow up and I still never heard back. Very unprofessional.

Awful experience. They never followed up. Had to insist multiple times to get an answer. I do not recommend this to anyone. They are so rude and disrespectful. One would think that a company this big would have better practices but alas! No.
