I had a difficult time getting pay information from them. She was very hesitant to give an actual dollar amount. They wouldn’t actually tell me what the starting pay is, they say it is based on experience. I do understand that, but many places at least gave me a pay range. She did tell me that their very top earners make $30 per hour massage, and that this particular therapist she was referencing was a massage instructor and had given speeches, etc. Very much a tone that said unless you are that, you won’t make $30 per massage. I couldn’t get a pay range to work with. Lack of transparency when it comes to pay is a red flag for me. They also do not give full massage time, they are 50/80 minutes instead of 60/90. Most places offer a 15 minute clean up window between massages, she claimed that if they did this and gave full massage time they could not offer online bookings. I found this very odd, because most places offer this 15 minute clean up window between massages, and also do online bookings without issue. This includes somewhere I have personally worked. She was also very difficult to get in touch with, it seems like they should have a dedicated person to handle interviews and questions because she was clearly too busy to do it.
