I submitted my resume through indeed and I was called to come in for an interview within a few days. The manager was the one to conduct the interview.
She was friendly and honest about the position and the challenges involved, but she was clearly excited about the company and had many positive thoughts on the owners.
She explained the position I was interviewing for and gave me a detailed description of the duties and expectations for the position.
The interview lasted about 40 minutes and at the end she explained the time frame for the process and let me know approximately when I should expect to hear from her if I was to be hired.
Very positive experience.

Question 1
What would you do if a client was unhappy with service or had an issue with their visit?
I applied online. I interviewed at Massage Envy (Portland, OR) in Jan 2026
Interview
Phone interview 1st. That went really well, so scheduled an in person interview. That went really well also and I got a job offer. Up to that point, communication was great. I was just waiting until the background check was completed, then they would give me my start date. After a few days from when I accepted the position and filled out my hiring paperwork online and still no word, I text the manager asking for an update. She did get back to me and said she'd been sick and said she would keep me updated and suggested some more online training stuff (that I could do while waiting or wait until I started). After that... nothing. They ghosted me. I waited a couple weeks- wanting to reach out but not wanting to bug them. Finally, I sent a text asking when my start date would be and she replied they didn't hear from me, so went another way. What??? So completely rude and unprofessional and just plain weird.

'Describe a time when you dealt with an unhappy customer and how you handled it'
Applied online and followed up with a manager and was hired same day. It was a short interview with the business manager to gauge sales experience and if you fit with the culture of the company!
