I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Massachusetts General Hospital (Charlestown, MA)
Interview
Applied online through the Harvard portal. Received a phone call next day to arrange for an interview. The interview was 1 on 1 and fairly straightforward. Discussed skills and past experience, career goals, and work hour flexibility. The total process, including lunch with the current laboratory members, lasted approximately 3 hours. Received an offer the next day, which I accepted.

Question 1
One unexpected question that I was asked pertained to specifics of a recent scientific conference that I had attended. I was asked what my opinion of the keynote address was.
After initial application, the hiring manager reached out directly over email. We had a few rounds of interviews. This varies based on the lab and role. Ended with talking with HR to go over logistics.
There was an initial screening call with the hiring department followed by a meeting with the research team and Principal Investigator. The interviews were short ranging from 10 minutes to 30 minutes.

I applied online. I interviewed at Massachusetts General Hospital (Boston, MA) in Nov 2023
Interview
I got an email from PI a few days after applying online to set up an interview. In the interview over zoom I felt I did alright, not my best work but not egregiously bad and interviewer mentioned putting me in touch with a current employee and what next steps in the hiring process would look like. I am now going on six months without hearing from the PI, obviously I figured I did not get the job a while back I just wish I ever could have heard anything back considering the note we ended on, and I can see on linkedin that another person was hired.
