I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Masis Staffing Solutions (Woonsocket, RI) in Jul 2025
Interview
I applied for a clerical position posted online and received a prompt email response asking me to call their office. During the call, I was informed that before I could proceed to an interview for the clerical role, I needed to complete an application and create an account through the Masis onboarding process. This required submitting sensitive personal and financial information, which I found concerning without having an interview or clear details about the job.
The company, which appeared to be a staffing agency, did not disclose the name of the employer offering the position or specify whether it was a temp-to-hire, direct hire, or temporary role. They described the onboarding as making me an “employee” of their agency before recommending jobs, which felt unusual and unclear, especially without an interview. The process seemed overly binding, potentially limiting my options if referred jobs were short-term or unstable.
Ultimately, I chose not to proceed due to the lack of transparency and discomfort with providing sensitive information upfront.
