I applied online. I interviewed at Marsh Risk (Chicago, IL)
Interview
It was not bad, went on site. There are 4 rounds of interviews and met a lot of members within the team. Great conversation. The whole process is smooth. Great experience.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Marsh Risk (Chicago, IL) in Nov 2021
Interview
Hirevue first round followed up by super day. Super day consisted of 3 interviews: 1 case study and 2 behavioral interviews by an MD and the rotation program leader. Case study felt more like a brain teaser/market sizing question especially compared to MBB consulting cases.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Standard behavioral questions (team work examples, approach to difficult work situations, things you're proud of, etc). Also, a "case study" question that felt more like market sizing than a full case.

Interview
Applied online for Chicago location. Reached out to recruiter who I had been connected with for sometime (different location), asked if we could setup a virtual coffee day so I can introduce myself, she connected me with the Chicago recruiter. Chicago recruiter asked my availability, I replied with my availability. She never replied. The she sent me an invite to recorded online interview. I did it. I impressed myself with how well I did on the interview. I never heard back.
Tip to Mercer: If people are making an effort, reach out to them, don't ignore them.
Tip to potential appliers: Apply if you feel like wasting your time and being ghosted.
