I applied online which must have been a very long time ago since by the time they responded, I did not remember applying with them. They left msg on my voice mail saying to call back to schedule an interview, I called back the following afternoon and spoke with the same person who left the message. She asked me about my experiences and work history, one of the jobs I mentioned apparently I did not list on my application. Long story short, she insinuated I was lying and I honestly couldn't figure out why I did not list that particular job, I told her if I sent in a resume it should be listed on there. The whole time I could hear continual ruffling through papers but evidently or conveniently my resume was nowhere to be found. Anyways, what was supposed to be a scheduling for an interview turned into a "we'll call you if we need you", and the call ended. I went home and looked up my application on the company's website, it had been over a year that I had applied with this company, furthermore their own website only allowed you to list three (3) jobs, and being I've had more than three I didn't list them all. However, I did send my resume which listed every single job I have worked! I called the next day but this person was not in, I left a message explaining what happened. A week later I never heard from again, an apology would have been nice and greatly appreciated. I went one over to her supervisor with a letter where I mentioned what was going on, she got in touch and while adamantly defending their employee saying she was in the right (which so be it...it wasn't my fault) she mentioned that the Marriott's application processes on their websites were all going to be changed so you can include all your previous work history.
