I applied online. The process took 4 days. I interviewed at Marriott International (San Antonio, TX) in Jun 2015
Interview
I showed up 30 minutes early and I was asked to fill out an application by the front desk associate even though I had already submitted one online and I had an interview set up with the manager. The manager clearly had not looked at my resume before I arrived (which is understandable, they are busy). I was taken into the office which the interviewer shared with the General Manager. We mostly discussed the duties of the front desk associate, the benefits associated with working at a Marriott, what I was doing at my current job and what my availability looked like. We also discussed the rate of pay. There was no salary listed on the website that I applied through but other hotels in the area were offering $10 so I was expecting something similar. The starting rate is $9 and I was offered $9.25 because I have had previous experience in the hospitality industry. That was not nearly the offer I was expecting from a Marriott.
I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Marriott International (Atlanta, GA) in May 2023
Interview
The interview process was short and only took a few days. I met with the AGM and they asked me about five questions. The questions were STAR based so make sure you have specific work/ school situations that you can describe

Question 1
Describe a time when there was a disagreement during a group project?
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Marriott International (Chicago, IL) in Jan 2022
Interview
Couple of Zoom calls. The process was a conversation and I felt they valued that I was able to build a connection with the person. The process wasn't that formal so there is plenty of room for that.

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Marriott International (Newport, Newport, Wales) in May 2019
Interview
A bit too long considering that it was for a NMW paid position. First, the applicant is asked to complete an online personality test, after there is a panel interview with the HOD and another management member.
Interview questions [1]

Mainly behavioral questions. The interview lasted roughly an hour and it was mainly the managers asking how i would react in certain scenarios, how to solve certain problems, explain scenarios where I demonstrated good customer service, team working and time management skills.
