Two panel interviews, one with upper leadership and one with who would be direct supervisors. They seem inconvenienced by my arrival 15 minutes before the scheduled start time. I was openly criticized about my answers to certain questions, and the tone of upper leadership was overall condescending. I had prepared for the interview and had looked forward to learning more about the position, but I was uncomfortable from the start. I wish I had politely asked to discontinue the interview process, because it was made clear early on that they had no intention of hiring me. I left feeling embarrassed, insecure, and shocked by the harshness I'd experienced. The work this company does is important, but I was not at all prepared for such an intense interrogation-style interview. I was told I'd be notified of my status no matter what, and I was never contacted.
