Requested a video first, which I found odd but was okay.
Brought in for first interview with a member senior management. Found the job description quite vague and sensed heightened levels of stress, but warmth of character came through and I really enjoyed the meeting and conversations - even after challenging questions.
Now asked to complete a 'task'. Can't tell you how much this irritated me. Perhaps for a junior role, but i'm sure this sort of request died in the late 90's??
Brought back again to meet the MD who I found really very engaging and articulate, and extremely friendly. Some more probing questions of course, but left with a great feeling about the company.
I genuinely had no idea who they were with regards to Conran - perhaps that was a red flag for them. It was the product that drew me in.
