In Portugal. After exchanging some emails that had an underlying tone of discouragement, I had one of my worst interviews ever. It was clear that she had no real interest in getting to know me nor ask the right questions for the function. She asked me to talk a bit about myself while clearly zoning out (and I kept it under 2 minutes) and that was it. I was super enthusiastic and asked some more questions, despite the obvious lack of attention/desire to answer from the other side. If there is no real interest/investment in hiring properly, please at least reject people accordingly and don’t waste both our times in a terrible way, betraying your core values, such as Integrity.
