Easy, applied online and was offered an interview. Met with the manager at the store and sat outside on a bench, it felt casual in a good way. We went through basic interview questions and basic customer service-related questions. After that, I was sent an email with the offer.

Describe the Madewell style and customer.
What do you define as good customer service?
Got an interview a day after sending an application, interview was over zoom. Got offered the job at the end of interview. They asked a good amount of questions about personal style, where you like to shop out, what is your favorite piece of clothing.
I submitted an online application and then was called to come to the store for a 30 minute interview. Definitely wear your most stylish outfit! We chatted for about 30 minutes on my past experience, why I was interested in Madewell, and some customer service fundamentals. Good experience and I got a call back pretty quickly after—maybe a couple of days.
