I applied online and received an emailed invite (same day) to schedule an interview through their online system, for the next day. The next day, 1 hr before interview I got a voicemail that they needed to re-schedule for the following day. Next day I arrived for the interview (early of course.) There was no music in the cavernous set of Executive offices and hallways. I could hear what was probably a confidential HR converstion in another room as well as every call taken or associate inquiry. Can you say akward? The interviewer came and got me and took me to her office. The first question she asked me was if I was looking for FT (because I'd applied for a PT position) and did I want to continue if that was the case. I said I was ideally looking for FT, but would like to discuss her opportunity anyway. I felt like she didn't want to talk to me because then she tried to cut it short by asking if I wanted to continue with the interview knowing the job required weekend availability. I told her I'd like to learn more about the job. She told me all about the responsibilities of the job and I was definitley interested but she kept dismissing my interest, I felt like I was being talked out of it by her. She did most of the talking, just occasionly stopping to ask if I'd done certain tasks before. Although I liked the sound of the work, when she finally said, "so where do we go from here." I stumbled on my words and then she just answered for me saying she'll keep my application on file and contact me if something else came up. Ummmm, okay.
