I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Macy's (Scottsdale, AZ)
Interview
Normal interview. Didn't take that long at all. Normal questions...Why Macy's? What would you do if you saw someone stealing from the company?
The worst part is after you're hired and train, you don't get a schedule for 3 weeks so you can't start working right away. They don't seem to be picky with who they hire for sales associates.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Hardest question was how would you convince someone to buy more than what they need?
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Macy's (Orlando, FL)
Interview
Virtue first. Then, at the store. Interview questions are not hard but hiring manager/s are sketchy. They posted part time positions but when I got into the interview they said their looking for people wanting full time job. So unprofessional to take my time.
I applied online. I interviewed at Macy's (Pittsburgh, PA)
Interview
Basic interview process. Applied online and was called in for an interview about a week later. Nothing crazy or out of the ordinary. No assessments needed. I talked about 2 managers.
I applied through other source. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Macy's (New York, NY)
Interview
It was in person and lasted 20 minutes approximately. Before the int started I was asked to fill out a questionnaire. The question inclu questions about my education and prior retail sales jobs.
