I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Macy's (San Francisco, CA) in Jul 2011
Interview
The company had many people that truly love the company. And they love all the work that they do for the company. They are addicted to the Retail, scene, and feel as if the money they make is a bonus. The people are a majority of the reason anyone would work for the company, which is a great thing.
The interview process was lengthy but very conversational. I think there were 3-5 rounds. There was also a technical interview for your specific function that you took online in a closed browser.
It was easy. Just be yourself and don’t overthink it. First was a 15 min screening call over the phone. Then a 45 min zoom call with another individual. Questions related to past experience and how you deal with certain situations.
There were 3 rounds. The first is just an hr screening. You then have to take 2 exams for the second round. After the exams there is one final round. The process was very straightforward.
