I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at MacPherson's (Suwanee, GA) in Aug 2022
Interview
Interview was with HR and the Manager. HR was nice but the Manager gave the impression that the interview was a bother to him and was trying to rush through it. Very unprofessional and I’d infer he was unprepared. Never felt I was given serious consideration and the whole process was a joke.

Question 1
What would be the biggest challenge for you if you were to accept this position?
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at MacPherson's (Atlanta, GA) in May 2015
Interview
Initial interview was on the phone with an HR manager in California, followed by an interview with the VP of Human Resources via Skype, also based from Cali. After that, I interviewed with the CEO and VP of Sales in person. I met the whole team, employees, managers, etc. Everything was going seemingly great.
The whole process took weeks, including standardized testing, where I had to call off work and rearrange schedules to meet everyone. Used all of my PTO doing this. They really made it seem like I had the job in the bag and then turned me down out of no where without a reason, despite my request for one.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Describe your ideal boss.
What would you do on your first day?
Describe a situation where everything just fell apart.
I applied through university. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at MacPherson's in Sept 2013
Interview
Contacted by email a day after submitting resume. Scheduled for an on-site interview the same week. Followed by a more in-depth one. Really nice people and decent working environment but I never see anyone talk to each other--they just work in their spaces. Interview is behavioral but they will be very exhaustive in their questions even to the minor details in your resume.
Everything went well and I was offered the position. I was offered another position with a higher salary so I negotiated. Rather than saying no they can't match the offer, they ended up pulling the offer even though I expressively let them know that I would make a decision the next day. What bothers me is they did not stand by their words. The hiring process towards the end is really unprofessional and difficult to deal with, which led me to believe that their decision-making, at least in the hiring process, was unilateral and not decided among the team. They also weren't honest with me and I won't go into details. Subsequent emails to them have been ignored. What gives?
Overall impression of the company is that it has promise. But behind the facade of a "Start-up" type environment is also a very traditional and hereditary management/hiring process. They like to promote from within and I think that's true too.
