      Consultant Interview

      6 Jul 2017
      Anonymous interview candidate
      New York, NY
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at MIGSO-PCUBED (New York, NY) in Jun 2017

      Interview

I received an email from Pcubed after having applied via Indeed.com. They responded a few days later to set up a screener call. The screener lasted approximately 45 minutes. It was pleasant. The process was threefold after that: a first round panel interview and presentation, a second round case study and presentation, and a final third-round interview. For the first round, they expect you to prepare a presentation about a project or program you previously managed. I met with three people. For the second round, you analyze a case study for one hour and then give a presentation on said study. During this phase, I met again with three company employees. I was not invited to proceed to the third and final round. After nearly two months of interviewing I received a generic email indicating that I did not have the skillset they were seeking. No feedback was provided despite my asking for it. In fact, they misspelled my name in the rejection email. Considering the time I invested in them the least they could have done was gotten my name right. Although rejection is never fun, I realized despite the high standard they claim to have, this error was telling was telling. I do not want to work for a company that can't hold itself to the same standards of excellence they seek in potential employees.

Thank you so much for your feedback. We are so sorry this happened. We agree that rejection is the worst part of an interview and this is never the impression we want to leave with a candidate! We always strive to have a phone call thanking you for the time and passion invested in our interview process, which is then followed up via email. We will be looking into our process to see how to ensure this does not happen again.
