I recently interviewed with MG Empower for a creative role and was asked to complete an unpaid exercise as part of the process -- for a client they actually work with. While I did receive feedback on my submission, it felt generic and lacked depth, resembling a templated response rather than offering actionable insights or specific observations. Experiences like this underscore the importance of meaningful communication and respect for candidates’ contributions. Also, there was never a HR person involved in the process, which made it feel extremely unprofessional. Basically encountered huge lack of personalised engagement.
