      Patient Advocate Interview

      4 Feb 2015
      Anonymous employee
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at MEDS

      Interview

I submitted an application online to be a patient advocate with Medicaid Eligibility and Denial Services (MEDS), and received a call about two weeks later from someone at their headquarters location in KY. I had a phone interview at that time (roughly 20 minutes), and am waiting to hear whether I will be continuing in the process for an in-person interview. Heads up for other applicants, some PT advocates work in hospital, others work in a call center environment. The interviewer was kind and really easy to talk to, it was a very standard interview.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

Tell me about a time that you had to assist an upset/difficult customer. What kind of experience do you have in customer service? What were your last two jobs, how do they relate to this one, and why did you leave them? What hourly pay range are you expecting? Do you have any experience working with Medicaid? Why did you apply for this job? How would your previous employer describe you?
