I interviewed with the General Manager and the Human Resource Manager. They were cordial and asked about my experience and education. They were challenging but acceptable. I was invited to also ask them questions about the job responsibilities, and about the company culture. They also took me for a tour fo the facility so I could get a better understanding of the work they do.

Efficient. Contacted by recruiter, given jobs details and company history. Make sure that the requirements of the company and the individual are mutually beneficial. Then send you on your in-person interview, where they get a good feel for your attitude and aptitude. Then all your standard background check and so on.
