Interview
I had a call from a nice and friendly recruiter and I was put forward for the Project Controller position. I had attended an interview with 3 senior managers which was competency based of which developed into a nice conversation about my relevancy to the role applied. The next day I received a phone call that they wanted to give me a lower offer to join them due to my experience which I had accepted and I was asked to go back for a 'Meet and Greet' with the potential team members. Now, I was told by the Senior Managers that the 'Meet and Greet' would be held in a 'Informal casual' manner with the 'Team', instead I just met with 2 'Project Controller Lead Managers' instead of the 'Team', and you probably guessed it.. It wasn't casual at all and was bombarded with interview questions and one of the Managers look like she was having seizure whilst she told a 'Joke' that I didn't find remotely funny at all lol. Following the so called 'Meet and Greet', I was taken on a tour around the Stevenage site; now given the fact I was offered a salary and a tour around the site, you would be led to be believe they are serious about taking you on.. but no instead I get a phone call a week later stating that they didn't want to develop me as I only have a couple of years experience and that it would take a great length of time to train me!. So after offering a salary and a tour they JUST realised I didn't have a enough experience - Now that is laughable, expecially when one of the Project Controller Leads said 'You can pick this up in no time' when speaking about some software in which I haven't had any experience with. And just for anyone applying for this particular role I want to empathize the value in knowing THEIR recruitment process thoroughly as they seem to not know the process themselves.
Well I guess I dodged a bullet, but wont obviously get back the time wasted.

Lasted 30 minutes. 3rd Step: interview with three members of the management and a person of the hr office. They also asked questions about my studies and my career, my expections and my aspirations. Then they followed with some technical questions about project management. The duration was about 1 hour.
