M1 Innovations is a three part interview. First, a one on one interview with the owner, followed by a (potential) full day of shadowing, and finally, a final interview with the owner again.
My initial impression of the office was that it's located conveniently, it's a small office with (edm?) music blasting and a baseball game airing on TV. It seems like it would be a casual environment with a formal dress code.
The interview itself is all right. The owner starts off by telling you it will be quick (~10-15 minutes). The questions he asked were fairly general, ex. tell me about yourself, give an example of a time you demonstrated leadership, what does social intelligence mean to you?. I was left with an impression somewhere between neutral and negative. The owner was polite enough, but he had another resume from another candidate left on his desk that I was able to read upside down. Given that this contains confidential information, and another small incident I noticed, it was unprofessional.
