Went through a screening call with a tech recruiter then on to a panel interview. The panel was comprised of the head Cloud Engineering and a couple of engineers . The engineers seemed ok and were interested in my answers but the manager seemed distracted. Near the end of the interview I asked some questions about the culture and the manager said “ you like to ask loaded questions don’t you?” Just very rude and disrespectful. In the end I never heard a word despite sending follow up emails to the recruiter. Also their Workday still shows my application as “Under Consideration” a month after the interview. Ghosting people and getting offended by questions about culture is so unprofessional. How hard is it to send an email saying you chose to go forward with other candidates?
