Wow, there was not any process to it at all. I received an e-mail for a short, 10-15 minute phone interview with the recruiter to see how I match up with the role. I e-mailed the recruiter what good days and times I was available to talk, and she later e-mailed me back with a specific time. I confirmed that time, but then she e-mailed me again what other times I could talk to her at. I then confirmed that I could only talk at the time I confirmed earlier. She never replied back to confirm back that she could talk to me at that time.
Then, she decides to call me at that time when I was busy, and then I left her a voicemail, confirming with her to call me after work. She finally confirmed back this time. We talk at the appointed time and it sounds like I may be moving forward to the next step. She told me that she would speak with her hiring manager on the next steps. But after the weekend, I never heard anything back from her, not even an e-mail telling me that I was not a good fit or are moving onto candidates "who best meet the current needs" to this day.
I received a horrible experience from Lyft's services one time, and the interview process, if you can call it that, also reflects how the company in general runs their day-to-day operations.
