Incredibly rude and unprofessional. The HR rep performing the screen joined the interview 10 minutes late (with no explanation or apology), did not explain anything about the company or the role, and jumped right into grilling me about why I had several roles at different companies on my resume. When I stated that a priority of mine is to find a company I can stay with for a while and grow, I was asked, verbatim, “Do you really expect me to believe there were no growth opportunities at the other companies you’ve worked at?”. The rep then ended the interview 5 minutes early, without even allowing me a chance to ask any questions of my own. Complete waste of my time.
This HR rep was on a complete power trip and never had any intention of even entertaining me as a candidate for this role. They just wanted to make themselves feel powerful by punching down at someone who needs work. Absolutely unprofessional, by far the most rude I’ve ever seen a recruiter act. And if this company employs people who treat others that way, I’m happy to never consider working for them, and encourage anyone else to avoid this company as well.
