I typically don't write reviews, but my recent experience with this company's interview process compels me to share my insights. In alignment with numerous other reviews, I wholeheartedly echo the sentiment: DO NOT BOTHER with the interview process here.It all began with an online application, which led to an email response inviting me to interview. The process kicked off with a coding round, where the interviewer curiously hinted that I was being considered for a role other than the one I had initially applied for. Unfortunately, he left me completely in the dark regarding the specifics of this mysterious role, further deepening the confusion. At a certain point, he asked for an additional 20-25 minutes beyond the initially scheduled 45-minute interview – a request to which I agreed. However, as I inquired about the role they were evaluating me for, the interviewer inexplicably decided to abruptly terminate the interview. Subsequently, the recruiter extended an invitation for a final on-site interview lasting 4-5 hours. Oddly, this session consisted solely of two HR/technical PM interviews, scheduled back-to-back. When I inquired about additional interviews, I was met with a puzzling silence from both the recruiter and the coordinator. On the day of the interview, my interviewer was located in a setting filled with background chatter and laughter, rendering his words incomprehensible. Strangely, he also claimed difficulty in hearing my responses. This was baffling, as I had previously conducted a clear interview with his colleague just 15 minutes earlier, using the same Zoom link, suggesting that the technical issues were not on my end. Following these two interviews, I reached out to the recruiter to ascertain their decision. In response, I was informed that these sessions were merely deemed "initial screenings," a stark departure from the initially labeled 4-5 hour onsite panel interviews. Subsequently, I had a promising discussion with the tech lead. However, this was unfortunately followed by two weeks of silence. My attempts at follow-up emails were met with eventual closure from the company, as they decided not to move forward with my application. In conclusion, my experience with this company's interview process was marked by unexplained role ambiguity, abrupt interview termination, disorganized communication, background noise issues, and ultimately, a prolonged process that led to a disappointing outcome. This review is intended to provide prospective candidates with insights into what to expect from the company's interview process.
