      Application

I applied through other source. I interviewed at Loews Hotels & Co (New York, NY) in Apr 2023

      Interview

Interview process was long, met with 2 people, was there between one and two hours. Enjoyed the process. Had to modify a document for guest services upon arrival as phase 1 of the interview.

      Application

I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Loews Hotels & Co (Miami Beach, FL) in Jun 2021

      Interview

The interview itself was incredibly fluid and comfortable. The VIP Manager and I spoke for literally an hour and a half just chatting to the point where she didn’t necessarily ask me those cliche uniform interview questions on her sheet of paper. It was a very natural conversation that I thought went nearly flawlessly. I was interviewed on a Friday and was told I’d have a response by “mid next week” were her words from that Friday. The following week I’d assumed Wednesday would be considered mid week, I didn’t get a call so I gave it until Friday to give them perhaps more time if the interview process was still ongoing. I gave her a phone call on Friday, one week since my interview and her assistant answered the phone. I left her my name and number and obviously informed her why I called regarding my interview. She gave me a kind of confused answer but said she’d have the manager return my call. Obviously did not happen, so I waited another 4 days and called again, went to voicemail so I left a message. Overall I was so excited at first and actually had very high hopes for this position because I felt I was incredibly qualified and had a great interview experience. But at this point I feel like I’m just being straight ignored and it feels insulting and unprofessional. If I potentially have other opportunities on the line and am holding off on everything until I know whether or not I get this job, the absolute least you can do as an employer is let me know the position has been filled, not leave me hanging up in limbo. Sad and unfortunate ending to what I thought was going to be an amazing opportunity.
